Daniel Myers
Senior Managing Director, Professional Services
As a Senior Managing Director of Tandym Pro, Daniel Myers is responsible for overseeing the recruiting efforts of all accounting/finance, engineering, IT, and HR/People & Operations positions. Daniel came to Tandym Group in 2011 with a background in engineering to help expand reach to the accounting and HR/People & Operations fields in Long Island.
Daniel is a United States Navy veteran who developed his recruiting skills early on as Recruiter-In-Charge (RiNC) for Naval Recruiting Stations across several locations in New Jersey, as well as a Command Career Counselor. He holds many highly-esteemed military awards and honors including the NATO Medal, Navy Recruiting Service Ribbon, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Armed Forces Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism recognition, Kosovo Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Aviation Warfare Pin.
Daniel applies the communication skills he gained through his service to his recruiting strategies. “Communication is the most important aspect of my job and being an effective communicator is something I take great pride in,” he says. “Truly understanding what my clients need—not only from a skills aspect but also from a culture viewpoint—allows me to not only supply them with the type of candidate they need to be successful, but to also set the candidates up for success.”
Daniel currently resides in Franklin Square, New York. He enjoys weight training, sports, and spending time with his son.
