Happy National Nurses Week From The Execu|Search Group!

This week, as we honor and celebrate the millions of nurses who keep us healthy, we want to extend a special thank you to each of the nursing professionals we partner with. This year’s Nurses Week theme is Nursing: the Balance of Mind, Body, and Spirit, which celebrates nurses for leading the charge in health and wellness.

“Nurses bring great value to the organizations they work for and the patients they serve,” says Amanda Cruse, a Managing Director within The Execu|Search Group’s Health Services division. “As the providers who spend the most time with patients, they advocate on our behalves, help us understand our medical needs, and are always there to listen without passing judgement.”

Since they often put their patients’ needs above their own, this year’s Nurses Week theme is especially fitting as the ANA is providing nurses with tools and techniques for identifying and managing burnout. “We know our nurses work tirelessly to provide high quality care with compassion,” says Amanda. “For this, we can’t thank you enough. You truly are the best of the best!”

National Nurses Week was originally established in 1954 to honor Florence Nightingale. Today it is a national event that celebrates the contributions that nurses and nursing make to the community. Learn more:  http://www.nursingworld.org/NationalNursesWeek-History
