As a Vice President of Professional Services at Tandym Group, Samantha ("Sam") Parris is a woman anxious to do and be her best. Since joining the firm in 2004, she has served as a scholar, leader, and role model within the company and a true partner to our clients and candidates.

Before coming on board with Tandym, Sam earned her CPA and acquired almost 10 years of industry experience. She started her career at a Big 4 CPA firm, followed by time at two major investment banks where she gained tremendous and diverse exposure to people and issues within the accounting & finance industry. Sam's experience has given her an insider's view that she now uses to help her formulate a strategic approach to recruiting. But beyond strategy alone, she makes sure the recruitment process is personal. "Every individual is different, and I make a point to truly listen to - not just hear - what each of my clients and candidates say so that I can respond appropriately to their specific needs."

Sam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average, and currently resides in Manhattan.
