As Senior Managing Director of Tandym Pro, Irv Myones is a proven leader who serves as a true partner to the clients and colleagues with whom he works. Irv focuses his recruitment efforts servicing all areas of the public accounting industry (audit, tax and consulting) for strategic partner placement through all levels of staff.

When he joined Tandym Group in 2008, Irv brought many years of recruiting, human resources, and accounting experience to the firm. In his early career, Irv worked at a regional public accounting firm and in the internal audit department of a Fortune 500 entertainment company. He eventually moved into the Human Resources and Administration functions, serving as the HR Director for a major regional firm and as the Regional Recruiting Director for a national CPA firm. A veteran in the accounting industry, Irv uses his hands-on knowledge of the industry to obtain the right talent and help grow his clients’ businesses.

“My experience as a Human Resources and Recruiting Director within CPA firms has allowed me to become a strategic partner and resource for our clients," Irv says.

Irv is an accounting graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and lives in Westchester County where he enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and his Shih Tzu Bailey. Irv also volunteers at his temple, singing in the choir and serving as an active member of its Brotherhood. His hobbies include sports and listening to the Grateful Dead.
